Infants and children require careful monitoring of their vital signs to ensure their well-being. Among these vital signs, measuring oxygen saturation levels (SpO2) and pulse rate is crucial for determining their respiratory status and overall oxygenation. In this article, we investigate the feasibility and significance of using hand-held pulse oximeters for monitoring SpO2 in infants and children.
